Shibori is a traditional Japanese dying process in which the fabric is wrapped with string around a wooden peg. After the fabric is dyed the string is removed, leaving a beautiful bulls-eye pattern in white where the dye did not take. Each pair of these socks is constructed and then shibori dyed by hand, making the pattern on each pair slightly unique.
